You Should Always have Your Cards with You so that You Will be Ready to Hand Them Out at any Stage

You should always have your cards with you so that you will be ready to hand them out at any stage. Never leave home without them. Every time you meet someone leave a card with them. Distribute them in any public place where you might find yourself. The bus stations, train stations or shopping malls.
Leave a card wherever you have been in a public place, on the counters in bars and stores or in restrooms. Wherever the pubic will see them is a good place. By doing this you will be constantly building up new contacts and they will in turn become new customers. This is your constant aim to get people to visit your premises and see what you have on offer. Advertising is the only way to bring your business to the attention of the public.
If you wish to give your cards a different look you could paste a magnet at the back of each card. These magnets are obtainable from most craft shops. Your cards will have added value and appeal and will be less likely to be thrown away.
You can design your cards with a bold font and print them in bright colours. This is more appealing than plain black and white. They will look interesting and compel the receiver to read the information and hopefully react to it.
The original intention of business cards was to leave one with a client when you had called on them so that they would have a name and contact details to refer to later on.
You can add to this information and make them more than just an identification card. Print your advertisements for special offers and discounts on the backs of the cards. Periodically change the sales items and offers and keep your cards looking interesting. They can become little billboards for your business.
Try networking with your cards whenever you attend any function or exhibition where people of different trades get together. When you have handed a card to a exhibitor take one of theirs in return. This is a fantastic way of introducing your business to potential clients. You can build up your own directory of business people with all the cards that you have received.
Your cards can become good ice breakers at social functions. While you are introducing yourself to someone hand then a card at the same time. This will put your name and business name firmly in their memories and they will probably make an effort to visit your premises. Always be ready to see an opportunity to make a new contact.
